As a highlight of the 9th Festival, Halawet Raqsena presents a rich and artistic exploration of Egyptian culture.
We are honoured to invite national-level Egyptian dance masters, members of Egypt’s National Folk Dance Troupe, and live musicians to Hong Kong to deliver authentic traditional Egyptian dance and music in its original form.
Far more than a visual showcase, this performance serves as an immersive cultural tour through movement. Through refined choreography and traditional rhythms, the masters and dancers will guide the audience through the rich historical and artistic heritage that Egypt has accumulated over thousands of years. Such a comprehensive display of traditional dance is exceptionally rare outside of Egypt, and we look forward to sharing this profound cultural journey with you through an artistic lens.
