We are proud to announce our Seasonal Workshops for 2025! The new season features special workshops with vibrant music and dance by 🇪🇬Egyptian Master Osama Emam, Live music by Cairo band!🎶🎼 and Tabla (an Egyptian drum)🪘 workshop by Hamdy ElKhayat!

Learn how dancers and musicians communicate during a live performance to stay in sync and improvise. It’s a unique opportunity to improve your creativity and ability to express yourself through dance.

All 5 days will also cover a wide range of Egyptian Dance including technique building, new choreographies and a discussion of the historical and cultural meanings behind each dance.

How to Dance with a Live Band!

Starting 8 April!

Learn how dancers and musicians communicate during a live performance to stay in sync and improvise, as taught by Master Osama Emam, accompanied by the Cairo Band and percussionist Hamdy ElKhayat. This week of dance is a unique opportunity to improve your creativity and ability to express yourself through dance.

Mr. Hamdy will also be giving lessons on percussion separately for musicians and dancers.

All participants will be invited to participate in HK International Egyptian Dance Festival 2025 and receive complimentary music from the workshops.

We pull together all of the techniques we learned and apply it to a full Saidi choreography, while working with a live band.
